Project Dirt: Social Networking for Eco Projects!
'Dirters' are less about talking and more about doing!
Project Dirt connects people and organisations doing tangible green projects. It was set up to help people and organisations collaborate over green issues and make things happen. The site is a platform driven by the people that use it.
Examples include community groups getting together to dig holes and plant trees, improve green spaces, or deliver workshops, courses and training.
The events section of the website is particularly useful as a one stop shop for finding out about forthcoming eco events you can get stuck into.
Project Dirt is run as a social enterprise, with support from companies that wish to showcase their environmental and community ethos, such as Timberland.
If you have a forthcoming event with an eco focus, advertise it on Project Dirt!
